The other day, on a lonely Sunday afternoon when there weren't a lot of kids around, the mother of one of Sebastian's friends called on behalf of her son, Jimmy. Tess answered the phone and the discussion went something like this:
"Hi, Tess, this is Jenny, is Sebastian coming down to the playground?" asked Jenny in her gorgeous and charming British accent.
"Yes, he's just getting changed and will be down shortly. Will Jimmy be on the playground?"
"Oh yes, he's quite bored actually and wants Seb to come play with him right away!"
"Is Jimmy dressed up as Mr. Incredible?"
"No, actually, he's Dash this afternoon," said Jenny, her tone shifting slightly to disapproving while at the same time knowing she was about to say something funny and cheeky.
"Really," replied Tess inquisitively. "How did that come about?"
"Well apparently," reported Jenny, "Mr. Sebastian Incredible told Jimmy the other day, that Mr. Sebastian Incredible was praying for a little boy for Mr. Incredible. I guess Jimmy wants to answer his prayer by being dressed as Dash..."
