21. a wonderful shoulder to cry on, even if it is 12,000 miles away. somehow, even when you are feeling just a little blue, she has the ability to cut right to the heart of the pain and let you cry it out.

22. and then there is the wonderful pick-me-up that follows.

thank you for being my friend. happy mother's day, Tess.

23. Tess is also a great sister, who I look up to and admire more than she will ever know! I am more than proud to say that she is my little sister, one great mother, my friend, and a great wife.

I too like practical gifts. I think Tess and I might be the only ones that would appreciate a new memory stick for the digital camera as a Mother's Day gift. What a nice list you have prepared! And Tess is very thoughtful. I look up to her a lot and she is one of my favorite "online" friends! And yes, gorgeous. I see the pics of her with the trips and she is stunning.

That was the sweetest post ever. You have a beautiful wife and a beautiful relationship with her.

A lot of what you write comes through in her posts. And yes, she's stunning!

Hi, Magnificent:

What a touching homage to your wife! I met Tess at an IVF Connections lunch in San Francisco once and found her to be one of the loveliest people ever. Lucky man, you!
