There is an awful lot happening in our lives right now but we are tired, as Carys demonstrates here. She fell out of bed tonight but managed to sleep through it. I escaped to church for the 6 PM service where Mark Greene from the LICC spoke. I also heard him Friday morning at a fellowship breakfast and Friday lunch. Brilliant and inspiring speaker. I got home about 8:30 pm with kids asleep, Tess on the verge and Carys on the floor.
Meanwhile, today was Sebastian's last rugby tournament of the season. Nasty weather but great morning with three games. Sebastian played well, especially his last two games where he tackled an opponent that prevented a try and got one assist. In his last game he tackled like a fiend, handled the ball many times and also got one assist. A strong finish to a successful season! As we left Sebastian posed atop a mound of dirt. (A "mini mountain" is what he called it.)
Finally, yesterday we traded in the Renault Espace. We've had so many problems with it the last few months that when a Honda Stepwagon appeared at a local dealer I watch we jumped at the chance to modernise the family transportation. The new (used) car is quite... stunning. (And it has a "magic door" according to the kids.) I had quite an emotional withdrawal from the Espace, but that's a very long story rich with detail of how God is well at work in my life. Stay tuned for that story and also stunning pictures of The New Black Beauty. Tess was quite keen to get the Honda... always listen to your wife, so I did.

That is exciting about a 'new' car. Tell me about all that is happening.
Dad.

Loved your blog, Chuck. The pics of Carys and Seb are delightful. Seb is just growing up way too fast - he looks such a man in that pose.
Yahoo for the new van. How exciting for you all. Totally looking forward to hearing your God story about the old van.
Love to all, M xox
